Neighborhood gem. Great all day menu. The rockfish is the star but you can’t go wrong here.Online ordering is convenient but makes it feel a little less high-end. Cafe vibe, restaurant prices.Still one of my fave places to dine.

Florida Ave gem. Effortlessly hip this place feels like it’s always been here. The food’s very good and an eclectic array. I had the hearts of palm arepa today and loved it. And my wife’s Venezuelan so we know arepas!

We had the best time dining at The Royal. We enjoyed multiple dishes during Restaurant Week and they were all so delicious! At one point, I said, “I’m so happy!” Highly recommend.

I finally got to try this little spot after passing it dozens of times and what a gem The Royal is! I met a friend for lunch and we both got arepas which were so fresh and delicious. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, yet chill and unpretentious (my fave combo! .On the way out, we spotted some amazing lunch dishes and the bar area looked so appealing. Definitely looking forward to going back in the evening to take advantage of the evening food and cocktail menus.Dietary restrictions: Lots of menu options for vegan, GF, etc.
