Price is reasonable and so is the variety of food. The fried food is done well and not overcooked. Fish is what you would expect at this type of place. It can get busy on weekday dinners so make reservations for weekend dinner.

We found this place behind the Pacific Mall one day while we were shopping. It was very large and had a nice atmosphere. Their menu was okay but not the variety of rolls we are used to going to other all-you-can-eat sushi places. The food we were served was very good though. They don't have a separate lunch or dinner menu -- it is the same price all day. When we went last week they had a promotion where you get a free grilled half lobster with the purchase of every adult all-you-can-eat. The lobster was delicious but very messy! We paid $23.99/person, which is about average for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot.

I love Japanese food but I don't often go to AYCE restaurant because they usually won't provide the same food quality as a la carte restaurant. Yamamoto doesn't fall outside of this rule. However, I have to admit that their menu offer many choices and most of them are decent (in AYCE standard). I also appreciate that they are usually pretty busy so that it often means quick food cycle and give a better chance of serving fresh food, it is particularly important for raw ingredient. My kids like the variety of dessert they offered. Service is not great but not terrible. Serving portion is small but it doesn't work against them because I can order more. Price is on the high side and they will apply 10% on the bill.

I've eaten at many All you can eat sushi restaurants around markham and this is definitely my favourite so far. I've been back many times. Although service was best when the restaurant first opened (the opening year, they even had free baked lobsters for everyone) the food quality has been consistent.AYCE sushi typically have lower quality sashimi but I found this place to have the best quality food out of all the other AYCE restaurants in the area.Food also arrives extremely quickly. Although service may be lacking, the overall dining experience is pretty good.
