Lire plus We had the worst experience at Tres last night. When we walked in a little before on a Saturday night it was absolutely empty which was the first red flag. We were seated at a dirty table that had not been cleaned and set with new silverware plates. There were crumbs all over the table. We ordered Ay Margaritas which were just OK. We then ordered the chicken croquettes and mussels. The mussels arrived without the bread that they were suppose to be served with. They also arrived cold and undercooked. I got sick later that night from the under cooked mussels. I politely told the server that the mussels were undercooked when he asked how our appetizers were... surprisingly he didn't seem to care that we were served a cold dish that should have been hot. Next we ordered the short ribs and sea bass which were good but nothing special. Lastly we had the cookies ice cream for dessert which were good but I could have made better cookies at home. The service was inconsistent which was surprising since we were basically the only people in the restaurant. For what we paid this was a serious disappointing dining experience. From beginning to end I just kept wondering how Jose Andres has his name on this restaurant... a ruined Saturday night
