29.10.2023 - 15:20Handy for the auto route and near to our hotel. Being vegetarian we did have a few choices. We liked the potato churros especially on the sharing plates. Nice outside seating area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and we were all full. We all enjoyed our evening at La Pataterie. Thanks

04.10.2023 - 05:45When we asked our Airbnb host Emmanuele if he knew any nice restaurants close to Gîte Ronce de Mai in les Touchards, he told us about La Petite Meule and its great steak tartare. After a 5 minute drive we arrived at the restaurant, where we were welcomed by the hostess. Eventhough we had to deal with a language barrier(our French is très mal), she was very friendly and welcoming. As starter, the mrs ' ordered a tomato and mozarella salad and I ordered foie gras. After a couple of minutes our hostess came running by. Walking back some seconds later. Her hands filled with freshly picked basil which she made us smell. It 's little things like this that makes us want to come back. Both dishes were delicious. As main Kim ordered Steak tartare and I ordered Poelle St Jacques. Both dishes were very good! The tartare was a veeery big plate. When the chef came by to ask how our food was m 'lady replied: 'Très bon mais très grand '(Very good but very big). We had no room for dessert so we had an espresso instead. And some local drink, I forgot the name, which was 'obligatoire ' (mandatory). All in all, we had a very lovely evening in which we got way more food than we paid for. We 'll be back!

01.10.2023 - 15:48On peut être conquis ou déçu par les menus du jour. C'est parfois très bien, mais d'autres fois ça frôle le niveau cantine, celle que nos ados regrettent de devoir fréquenter. Comment recommender sérieusement cet établissement ?

15.04.2023 - 09:07We agree, whole-heartedly, with every sentiment, well-expressed by Mary G in her previous report. A meal at La Petite Meule is definitely an extraordinary experience culinaire , not to be missed; it was, for us too, one of the unforgettable memories of a wonderful trip to...the Burgundy region...so much so, that our original visit, together with a repeat visit on the way home, a week later, formed two very precious 'bookends ' around our trip. The tasty local dishes, (accompanied by the outstanding frites de la maison , were served up with a large portion of smiles(! by the patron and his wife, who both seemed to take almost as much pleasure in serving us, as we did in savouring the delicious food. In conclusion, the unusually mild Burgundian Summer days during our stay were more than compensated for by the 'ambience chaleureuse ' of this extraordinary establishment. Tip: To all those pilgrim-followers of ancient history, who make the journey to see the world-famous wall fresco in the church at La Ferte Loupiere, make sure that you extend your homage to l 'ancien regime de la cuisine traditionnelle francaise , by dining 'al fresco ' at La Petite Meule!

23.03.2023 - 06:56Bonjour accueil toujours aussi chaleureux, l'ensemble du personnel agréable et souriant nous y sommes allés 2 fois car nous fêtons nos 3 ans. Au niveau du repas de la qualité on se régale toujours autant et peu d'attente entre les repas c'est un plaisir de venir a chaque fois. Sans oublier le patron qui va aider son personnel très accueillant et chaleureux.

23.03.2023 - 06:56Equipe aimable, gentille c'est agréable d'arriver dans un endroit où tout le monde à le sourire. Côté cuisine, c'est correct on est bien servi.
