Am Wochenende haben wir es wieder einmal gewagt in der Rotwand einzukehren. Ich bin in der Gegend aufgewachsen und kenn es von klein an. Leider musste ich auch... Leider musste ich auch bei den letzten Besuchen dort schon das nachlassen beim Geschmack und der Qualität der Speisen feststellen. Mein wirklich letztes gutes Essen dort hatte ich vor 16 Jahren. Da war der Kaiserschmarrn noch so wie er sich gehört und ebenso die Kasspatz'n waren legendär. Jetzt am Wochenende hatten wir einen Kaspress Knödl mit Salat und extra auf der Karte angekündigten Steirischen Kürbiskern Öl und eben die Spatzn aber , welch ein Graus! Der Knödl hatte die Form von einem zusammen gedätschten etwas, den Käse hab ich nicht gefunden, geschmacklich genauso bescheiden und das kürbiskern Öl beschränke sich auf 2 etwas größere tropfen am Tellerrand. Die Kässpatzn waren dann eher eine Suppe, die sind in einer weißen Flüssigkeit daher gekommen die nach nix geschmeckt hat und auch da habe ich mich gefragt wo der käse sein soll. Bei meiner Mutter war dann noch ein Haar in der ganzen Pampe und so ist ihr der Appetit dann umgehend vergangen. Die Preise dafür sind gesalzen. Dies war dann unsere endgültig letzte Einkehr dort. Schade drum und schade was daraus geworden ist. Aber, wie bei allen Turi Zielen können sie es sich wohl erlauben. Nächstes mal werden wir das Taubenstein Haus testen, vielleicht ist es da besser oder die Brotzeit einfach wieder selber mitnehmen.

So far I had every dish on their menu and they are all exquisitely made where I can't wait to come back. Rocco staff is the best service, including Valentino, who knows his wines. Your bar drinks are creative and delicious. I love the Amaro Bar and they have a great wine card for Italian grape varieties. The ambience is perfect for this romantic date or business dinner. The Osso Buco was so good that I ordered two this night. (Because my partner ate half of my first. Beef Carpaccio makes an excellent end to meal as I do not hire deserts, but there is the Chinato from which they are excellent. Please don't tell anyone about this restaurant because it's always hard to get a table these days, and we want our own little Stanford piece signature style and class to do the Italian style.

Would NIE go back. The poor owner just walks around in a daze, he needs help from someone who knows how to run a restaurant.

Nos plats principaux étaient un peu d'attente, mais avant que nous puissions nous plaindre, notre serveur s'est excusé et ils sont apparus peu de temps après. La nourriture et les portions incroyables étaient bien adaptées. Nos steaks étaient parfaitement préparés! En raison du petit retard dans notre alimentation, le directeur a envoyé un skor Sundae pécheresse que nous avons dévoré, même si nous étions beaucoup trop pleins. Excellent service et félicitations à la direction pour rester au top du service.

We went on one of those scorching days, it was pleasant inside. Beers kept us cool and food tasted great. My husband felt his crab louie salad, wasn't as big or as full of ingredients as the last time he had it but thought it still tasted great. With the new seating we will be back again soon!
