The food was reasonably priced, freshly prepared and tasty. Coffees were all hot and made with care. It felt as though the staff actually wanted to serve you and we were made to feel very welcome.

The tea in the pots was stone cold so we then had to wait even longer for hot teas! The sandwich bread for the 'afternoon tea ' tasted stale and the crusts were very hard. The scones were rock hard especially the fruit scone which was difficult to cut and impossible to eat. The stars of the show were the cakes and it was nice that you got to pick your own. At £12.50 per head, we were expecting better quality and much better presentation. The staff were very apologetic and agreed that the food wasn 't up to scratch and nor was their service.

The second time we ordered from here, one dish had onion in it (which we had specifically asked not to have) but when we phoned to tell them, the lady went out of her way to apologise and rectify the matter. You couldn't ask for better customer service!

No action was taken by any members of staff and the experience was both frightening and upsetting for the customers, which included children. The queues were for the drive-through and for customers in the restaurant. Although there were ample staff, they couldn't cope.
