Between us we ordered an array of starters, the mini mixed grills were delicious as were the bhajis. The dosa’s were outstanding! The lamb byriani was the best I’ve eaten the lamb shank curry was so tasty. Everything we ordered was delicious everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff were so friendly we had a lovely time. The restaurant was busier than usual due to other local restaurants being closed for Eid, the staff apologised for our wait which to be honest wasn’t bad at all considering our party size it just meant we had longer to chat catch up. Can’t wait to visit again

Lire plus Well I have to say this is a lovely pub with the wrong people running it I have worked in the hull city centre for over 30 years and it’s well known that the landlady it rude and not very friendly today just cemented that’s for me having a catch up with my lovely friend Amanda and a hand reached in between both of us chatting and stuck her fingers in my glass and two empty glasses on the table I protested and said I was still drinking (this is not the first time she has done this to me or my friends) but she just put the drink back down NO APOLOGY and just walked away what the hell I said to my friend did that just happen I told one of the lovely waitresses what had happened and she apologised and changed my drink HELLO THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN EVER BUT DEFINITELY NOT IN THE MIDST OF THE CORONA VIRUS people should not work in hospitality if they do not like people

A large breakfast costs £7.50 and you get 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, black pudding, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, 2 slices of toast and a tea or coffee. I have the vegetarian option which is even cheaper. There are plenty of other options on the menu too all at sensible prices. The owner and staff are friendly and it is very clean. Don’t let the frontage of the shop put you off. You will definitely return once you’ve tried it. Can’t recommend this place enough. Give it a go.

Everything was presented well and hot. My only disappointment was they had run out of rhubarb and custard Eton mess which I was wanted to try. Never mind we will have to return next time we are in the area.

It’s a chilled out place where you can land for an hour or...so and enjoy some great food. Portions are massive and some of the burgers are not for the faint hearted. It’s also quite expensive but I don’t mind paying more when the food is good. Lacking of the dessert options but smashing everything else. Will be back soon.
