We hadn’t planned on dinner at this restaurant, but our first choice was unavailable. We’d had an ok dinner with a group of friends there in the past so decided... Frankie he of the gold chains and slicked back hair ...escorted us to a table. We were one of three tables at the time, although more diners did arrive over the course of the evening. Server brought drinks and bread to the table within 20 minutes and took our orders. And then we waited.....while the smoke started coming out of the kitchen.....for a second glass of wine.....for any sign of food....for a glimpse of the server. I got up to refill our water glasses at some point. Server brought one appetizer it was awful. Mine came 20 minutes after, and when I indicated I had ordered something different server said I was lucky as it had more shrimp than the one I ordered. We watched food served at the table next to us being served (although they arrived after us). Sadly for them, it arrived one plate at a time. Seriously...the person served first had enough time to eat their entree before their companions’ were served. Unbelievable. 90 minutes after our arrival, one entree arrived at the table (not what we had ordered);twenty minutes later another inedible entree arrived. No sign of any food for two of our party. At that point we gave up. As we got ready to leave server noted chef was on vacation and they had a replacement and fewer servers. Frankie (the owner) got up from his stool at the bar where he had spent the night and told the waiter not to charge us but he did anyway. We’ve had some bad meals over our lifetimes but for sheer bad service and wretched food, this restaurant takes the cake.

This is a pub and it should not be difficult to...serve a simple order that is there specialty. They were very disorganized on the day we went. We got tired of waiting and left.
