27.07.2023 - 02:35As someone who has Italian heritage and has eaten in all corners of Italy for many years in all kinds of ristoranti, trattorie and also the pizzerie of Napoli and Roma, I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about when it comes to Italian cuisine. The food here isn’t authentic nor is it interesting and modern or creative in its cooking. I’m not really sure what it is, it seems like a very anglicised form of Italian cuisine, as it’s comparable to the average Italian restaurants of my native Britain. I cannot exactly understand how the Michelin guide gave here a star. Some dishes seem over complicated and certain ingredients do not compliment others very well. The food here isn’t diabolical but it’s not great either, it’s about average, however some dishes are particularly poor, especially the asparagus starter; which came with fried eggs on top, olives and tomatoes, which I thought was quite strange. The asparagus would’ve been better kept simple with shavings of parmigiano or tartufo. Service here wasn’t particularly great either, it was slow and not as attentive as other restaurants in Paris. It took what seemed forever to even order bottles of wine. Also the owner wheels round a cart of grappa and other digestivi and “offers” them to you, only later do you discover that in fact you are charged on the bill for these. Most Italian restaurants in Italy will offer this free of charge as a thank you for coming to their restaurant. Also, you’ll be “persuaded” to order dessert even if you don’t really care for one. All in all, there are better restaurants in Paris you can visit, here is a waste of money for an experience that isn’t authentic and not innovative, just average.

31.03.2023 - 09:55Charming hotel in a quiet location with friendly service, good restaurant and an amazing wine list (one of the best and most comprehensive I have seen in France). This is due to the passion and knowledge of the maître d'hôtel. He made us very welcome with the time to chat about wine and helped us to choose a beautiful Saint Emilion. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street with its restaurants and bars. Good hotel.

20.01.2018 - 17:08Une carte irréprochable pour ceux qui aiment vraiment manger. Un cadre au top en terrasse avec vue sur jardin soigné. Attention cependant au service brusque qui peut heurter la sensibilité des gourmets que nous sommes.Une adresse ou il fait bon revenir dans tous les cas.

11.01.2018 - 12:17The menu is packed with healthy options from breakfast up to desserts, they also got a kids menu and wide variety of alcohol, which makes them a choice for customer of any age. I've visited them twice and I will surely come back to enjoy more of their dishes.One of my favorite was the Salmon Ceviche, perfect for red wine.

20.11.2017 - 15:59Went with friends after looking on tripadvisor and was really disappointed ,no atmosphere , highly overpriced for quality of food,staff not very helpful , the only cheeseboard in France with no blue cheese.
