La Baguette

Gemma Max make the BEST baguettes! The bread is made daily and you can tell it is fresh. Found this tiny place on a visit with a friend a few years ago. Glad they survived the pandemic! Usually go daily when in town for a fresh lunch. Highly recommend for superb quality at a very reasonable price. 3.80 fir a ham, cheddar and salad baguette. And, no mayo!

During my visit to Bath, I decided to explore new dining options and came across La Baguette. Upon entering, I noticed a woman with unkempt hair and body odour, which initially made me question the cleanliness of the establishment. Despite this, I enjoyed the food served to me, although I hoped that the woman had washed her hands beforehand. However, I found her customer service to be unprofessional and rude.

I asked the manager if I could buy some of the sandwiches in the window but she insisted that I ask for the sandwich by reading the list on the wall and pretended not to understand my English. she was very annoyed about the wasted time but other customers weren't standing in line. Her facial expression disgusted me

Stumbled upon this place whilst visiting Bath and we needed a quick small lunch before eating in the evening. We had 2 baguettes between the 4 of us and it was delicious. Good customer service
