The Fig And Olive at Cowes, has taken the cake, $56 for a Seafood Paella with not little taste< the chorizo was about the only taste) not much seafood, and lots of rice but it was dry to boot. The Chicken Paella was just as bad. It used to be OK but boy that is no longer the case.
Over priced menu. This is not a Crown Melbourne restaurant. Did not stay with those prices. No wonder they have it on the market
Nice staff but way too expensive for what it is. $70 Steak was blue when ordered medium rare. Everything else was pretty average
The best Linguini di mare I have ever had!! Strongly recommended. The atmosphere and the decoration is outstanding. Very welcoming hostess/waitress! Great job!
This restaurant was great years ago before they doubled the price of everything. We went and had entree and they realised they made a mistake with entree and gave us a new dish. Half way through eating our entree the mains came which they said we’ll keep them in the kitchen. Our mains were roughly $70 and just sitting there. As soon as entree were done we got our mains. My paella was burnt to the pan so I could only eat what was on top. The waiter asked me how it was and I mentioned the burnt underneath and all he replied was but how is the flavour. We were rushed with our food and for the price we were done in under an hour. A lot of the locals don’t go due to the quality and price so they run on tourists. Avoid if you want quality food. Anerie and Hotel are much better.
