Sant'agnese - PADOVA

Firs of all i thank you they make spageti with tomato sauce for our children. We ordered and we waited 1 hour for the meals this is acceptable, but they forgot 3 of ourder, and when finish our plates our orders didnt come. 2 portion fried seafood and 1 portion fish. I think these are not desert they have to serve fried seafish before main course. We want to cancel they didnt accept and we paid them we left restaurant. Totaly in 90 minutes they couldn’t bring all of our orders. But they take all orders account. Fish are served cold, it was a very bad dinner for us. We paid 320 euro i hope they are happy with this money.

This was our fourth visit to the restaurant after a very long absence. The food is still very good, the atmosphere is good but something I can’t put my finger on is missing. On our earlier visits we felt welcome as friends. This time we were customers. As I said, food is good, wine was good (if a bit expensive) but for some reason we left unsatisfied.

On a damp May evening we found this a gloomy fish restaurant where the waitress did her best to cheer things up. But the atmosphere was dull and the owner/chef did not appear to welcome or check the few guests that were there. Portions were not generous, and in my opinion the fish casserole seemed somewhat over-cooked, a layer of bland seafood and vegetable rather than some kind of a hearty bake. My wife rated the place better than I did. Our meal came to €118.00 without the tip, and I am glad that others have had a better experience. Warmer lighting, a little bigger servings and some attention from the patron would have been welcome.

Piccolo ristorante di Padova, intimo e ricercato, con pochi tavoli sia all' interno che all' esterno, dove si mangiano dei buoni piatti di pesce, dall'antipasto al secondo, spaziando tra crudo e cotto... Insomma, per tutti i gusti. I prezzi sono un po' altini, ma non altissimi. Il servizio è competente e giovane. Il parcheggio, purtroppo non esiste.. percui, conviene armarsi di pazienza !

Scelto per la qualità delle ricette di pesce, non ha deluso. Raffinato, non economico, non è però pretenzioso, né spiacevolmente creativo. Porzioni sufficientemente abbondanti e presentate con gusto e gentilezza. Vino ottimo.
