There was several customers already seated. Millie brought our menus to us. Our waitress came over and got our drink order. We both ordered appetizers. I got the fried onion chips and my friend ordered the fried mushrooms after asking our server. They did not disappoint both were good. My friend wanted oysters, but only if they were from the oceans and not farmed raised. Our waitress did not know and went to ask Millie. She came back quickly and said they were from the ocean. She ordered the fried oysters and a baked potato. My friend said they were great and just what she liked. I ordered a ribeye steak and sweet baked potato. My steak was cooked correctly and had a very good taste. I think the steak was cooked on a flat grill. We both helped ourselves to the salad bar which came with the price of our meal. The salad bar was filled with a nice variety. Prices were reasonable to quality of meal and serving sizes are most generous. This was a good find close to home and we will be returning again. Good service good food. If the locals eat there it's usually good.
