The Chopsticks - Stayner

We had take out from this restaurant and I wouldn't purchase from there again. Overall the quality was poor and at its worst the sauce for the chicken balls appeared to be spoiled and had to be thrown out. I try to support local business but this was a bad experience and not one that we will repeat.

This is really a take out restaurant and not dine in, although there are 2 tables. We dined in and were served in take out styrofoam containers. I can’t merit any restaurant still using styrofoam but regardless... 2 stars for affordability. Prices are cheap for what you get. I didn’t taste strong msg like other Chinese restaurants. It’s American style Chinese. Egg rolls were off tasting, they had a tang that shouldn’t have been there. Fried rice was great. Chicken balls were terrible, and were mostly bread. No flavour and hardly any chicken. Cantonese noodles were also terrible, noodles tasted powdery and were very crispy. The dish, however had many large vegetables in it. Limited drink options. Dining area was clean but bathroom was horrendous. Everything in it was spotted with filth. We will try a different Chinese food restaurant time.

Clean bright atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food is good and I love the specials. I have never had a bad meal at Chopsticks.

Six of us went here for supper last night and had a fabulous meal. Our waitress was fabulous and accommodating and very professional, friendly and pleasant. She took our order quickly and the food came shortly after we ordered it. We ordered different dishes and shared them so everyone had a chance to taste the different dishes. She brought us plates right away so that when the food came we could just take what we wanted and pass the dishes around. Every dish of food tasted fabulous and the portions were very good. Everyone had plenty to eat and we had a lot to take home for leftovers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area or living in the area. The atmosphere here is very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely return for another meal very soon.

I neglected to write a review in past but truly it deserves a review. The food is always good, always warm and always fresh ... I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Orders are always ready if you order for pick up.
