2001 Flavours - Vancouver

I look at our reception: Pizza 2001, 595 Pender Street, Vancouver BC. Now I look at the photo of the store and look at a few names at the branch: 2001 Flavors and Fantastico Pizza 2001 and then our reception pizza 2001 says.... This is a small corner shop with some stools, a pizza display case and an active kitchen. A lot of her business is on the piece of cake. Our order was for a big veggie so we waited while it was prepared. We are here 2 years ago and remembered it as one of our best pizzas, but memories can be faulty and expectations can be overblown. Although it was pretty good, something was missing. The sauce or the cheese (or both? were a kind of bland and the veggies lacked interest. Would we go back there? Maybe. There are many pizza places to try so that the search can continue very well.

First, this is not a culinary experience. That's not a criticism. If you go after 2001, you have a delicious pizza slice or a whole pizza slice. The idea that you eat your delicious meal quickly and go, or, you have delivered your cakes....The owners are fantastic and they are pizza masters. You can get the standard topping combinations that I often get, or you can have their unique combinations that I get just as often. I'm not a vegetarian, but they have such a variety of veggie options that you need to try them. I tried them all and they're great. Her meat combinations are also wonderful. I usually get a slice of meat and a veggie. The crust is wonderful, crispy and chewing. They only use the right amount of cheese. They also offer a variety of toppings for a variety of tastes. eg: ketchup, parmesan, hot sauce, ranch, oregano, etc... There is also a wide selection of drinks to go to your food. e.g.: soda, juices, water, Italian soda varieties, etc... The prices are excellent! This is a real jewel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. You also have another location on Robson st. if this is more convenient.

I ordered a piece of salami pizza and a piece of ham / pepperoni pizza. Both were very tasty and the prices are also good. I paid about 4.50 CAD for both disks. I definitely come back!

Ordered a chicken, and Peporoni pizza for my staff and asked for delivery for 8 pm. The pizza came on time with 2 friendly phone calls they made before delivery. The deliveryman (a young child) was well gifted, friendly and polite....Activate a child who enjoyed his job and who just got him a bit bigger tip. The pizza was fresh and sour. The Peporoni was really delicious. This place serves good pizza for a reasonable price and I personally would strongly recommend it.

I ordered a medium veggie pizza. They allowed me to substitute mushrooms for the olives. The veggies were delicious (big pieces and not over-cooked). The bread and sauce were very tasty. $10 for a medium pizza is great (perfect for 2 hungry people).
