After a huge delay on the Washington State Ferry and rushing to make our dinner reservation we arrived at OLO. We were greeted by a very friendly person who became our server. The restaurant is smaller than I thought. Rustic and comfortable. After we relaxed and had our first glass of wine our Cornbread with Buckwheat honey butter arrived. Yum! Tasty and crispy. We had a Beet salad with fresh cheese, watercress, raspberry and beet sorbet, Seared Ling Cod and Duck Breast. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. For my husband's birthday a fresh rhubarb tart with rhubarb ice cream and a candle arrived. When in Victoria you should experience this restaurant.
Gezellig lekker restaurant in mooi kader & supervriendelijk personeel. De gezonde gerechten zijn mooi gepresenteerd & delicatessen. Zeker een bezoek waard!
If you are a Drakkar Noir-drenched Gen X nouveau riche DB with a keen eye for the pretentious and a hole in your soul as large as your net worth, you will absolutely adore Olo. Any why not, when you can tell your phoney friends that you spent $7 on a spoonful of pickles, $14 on frisée and raw turnips, or $30 on sous-vide chicken with peas, carrots and cloyingly-sweet tortellini?! And don't worry if you don't understand most of the words on the menu, because neither does the kitchen.
