An attractive building with the al fresco tables are set out in a pretty courtyard and you feel as if you have walked through a secretive door like Alice in Wonderland. The menu...is extensive, some might say ambitious given the extensive choice, and meals from the Al La Carte menu on the expensive side. However, the set menus offers great value and we all opted for that (39 Euros for three courses with a small surcharge as we want for steak as our main course). All the food was very good and this included the scallops for our starters, the steaks for main and some lovely desserts. The wine list acts as an encyclopedia for local wines and you could spend an hour pouring over your options we went for a local Pic Poul with out starters and a bottle of the Olleuix Romanis Atal Sia with the steak and both were fabulous. Philippe an the team looked after us very well. The bill came to 160 Euros per couple and that include two bottles of wines. A lovely meal and nice way to end our holiday in the Languedoc.

Lire plus It is a pleasure seeing a small but professional staff keeping everything running smoothly on a busy Saturday night. Almost everyone arrived at the same time, about eight o'clock. There wasn't an empty table in the restaurant. The establishment is attractive, if a bit spartan....The selections are extensive. It isn't entirely fair to rate a place on just one or two courses, but that is all we can do when we are just passing through town. While I would give them the bronze of the three restaurants we tried, the kitchen is first rate. My wife and I thought our fish/shellfish courses were correct but not extraordinary. the vegetables were cooked precisely, but didn't have any flavor enhancing seasoning. Our desserts, however, were memorable, fresh fruit enhanced with several embellishments. Our waiters spoke about as much English as we do French. They were courteous but a bit detached. That is not unreasonable when they were going full tilt in a completely full establishment. I believe we were the only non-locals there, but we were served with respect and fairly. All in all, a fine meal. But there appears to be some real competition in the neighborhood!
