I haven't been to the Skylark in a while, so as I popped in recently on a gloomy March afternoon, I was cheered to find that the place hasn't changed one

Good food and great service. The samosa and the gobi aloo were the best!

In business for many years at the strip mall on 17 Ave SE and 52 Street ._ I am a regular for takeoutOne of the best indian restaurants in Calgary.

I once visited the Skylark for a dine-in experience, which was not good - cafeteria atmosphere, slow service and strange dessert display in the lobby. However, just had an amazing take-out experience through Skip the Dishes and will definitely order again. The spice levels were perfect for our motley crew of 5 people; some lovers of Indian food, and a few who had never tried it before! Also, free delivery over $30! We spent $80 including tip for our driver, and there was enough left over for 3 lunches today. Definitely recommending this place for take-away!

We come here for work lunches. The buffet makes it a really fast lunch if need be. All the dishes taste really good, including the butter chicken. They bring naan bread to the table, which is also tasty. $12.50 ea. We'll come here again.
