Middle Grounds Grill - Treasure Island

10 year anniversary dinner with my wife last night, we arrived around 6pm, valet took our car. The bar and outdoor area were fairly busy. We were seated within 10 minutes. I ordered the 10 ounce sirloin, she ordered the crab cakes. We also ordered the smoked gouda appetizer. This was great. The steak was done to perfection as well as the crab cakes. For desert we ordered the pineapple upside down cake (no pic as it smelled so good we ate it promptly). OMG, so good. The server was prompt, polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Went here on Tuesday night. 6 of us ..glad we booked as it was very busy. I had the restaurant’s signature dish mango nut crusted grouper it was delicious. Everyone in our group loved their food and the cocktails weee fab too.

A local barkeep recommended we try to really enjoy, a roll appetizer is very special, do it. Greek appetizer also was great. medium rare new york strip was made perfect and delicious. peter was our server. really good service. really good eating! looked at a table in the bar. everything we had was served with the own spin of the middle floor (e.g. roller boats and special sauce, chipotle? sauce with new york strip) wait! we're not done. we asked about the dessert menu. peter hit the pineapple on the head cake! Don't go home without it!

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary here this year. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at that time. The staff was very polite and our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and even gave us a brief history of the restaurant. The drinks were excellent that we had before our meal although the bar was slightly crowded. (Normal for anywhere down at the beach this nice The crabcake we had as an appetizer was very delicious although I would’ve liked to have one all to myself. This is viewed as a seafood restaurant but my wife decided to order the filet and it was very very good. I wish I would have ordered a piece of fish but my wife loves scallops and I wanted her to be able to try them so I ordered the Moscato glazed scallops and they did not disappoint. Presentation was excellent and everything came out in a timely manner even though it was quite busy. If your looking for something a little nicer than all the rest out there on the beach this is it!

The service and food are excellent. Alicia and Melissa were our waiters this visit. Steak and seafood outstanding. We’ll be back for sure
